Title: The completed art deco home
Description: I have now just completed the external construction of my house in Derby, which is 3 storeys plus a full size basement. I must say I have found the people at Polysteel to be extremely helpful and supportive at all times. They have also put me in touch with a number of companies supplying related products e.g. rendering, which have proved quality, competitive solutions. The Polysteel product itself has produced a property which is immensely strong, very warm and by all accounts very attractive. I personally selected Polysteel for 5 main reasons: 1. Its cost effectiveness, particularly in basement construction compared to basement specialist quotes I had obtained. 2.Its superb acoustic qualities, as our house is on a very busy trunk road. 3.The fact it did not require the use of skilled brick/block layers- it does require care in construction, but all methods do- and the Polysteel team assisted greatly here. Also the larger size of block means quicker build time. 4.Its obvious thermal benefits. 5.Our site has difficult access and so it's “easy to man-handle” abilities on our driveway compared to traditional building materials was a major benefit I would recommend PolySteel to anyone considering construction work. Title: The walls and openings are braced
Description: Here you can see how the PolySteel icfs have been assembled and the openings were formed using a 100% recycled vinyl known as VBuck. The structure has been braced correctly.
